Cast: Its looking better and better each night. Thank you for your hard work. Be ready to add the technical aspect and band tomorrow. Please bring your patience, your flexibility, and your smiles and "thank yous". We have crew here with us tomorrow and is is when we go through costume changes, wig changes, scene changes, light cues, spotlight cues, band cues, etc. We begin piecing EVERYTHING!!! We feast tomorrow between 5:00 to 6:30pm. Bring the food you'd like to contribute to potluck tomorrow. Please wear closed toe shoes from here on outon stage. I want to keep your toes, feet, and all body parts attached to your body !!!! We will be screwing on stage (with a drill)!!! If at any point you notice any safety issues or concerns please bring it to my attention and/or Sherman immediately so we can address the issue. We want everyone to be and feel safe. |
Crew Ron, Melissa, Sherman - need to hang cyc, scrim, black teasers before sitz probe? Call time for ALL crew is 1:00pm in the Tin Barn Green Room. We will talk about safety, crew assignments, and walk through the show costume changes, cues, etc. Between 1:00 - 5:00 the band and cast will be in sitz probe. We will look at costumes, walk through scene changes, set up prop table. You will have a break from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. We are having a potluck in the Tin Barn. Bring any item(s) you'd like to contribute. We feast during our break! Run of show begins at 7:30 or as close as we can get to that point. Melissa completed a safety walk through before rehearsal. |
Next Rehearsal: Saturday Sept 17th on Palace Stage with sitz probe with band from1:00 - 5:00pm; Feast (break) from 5:00pm - 6:30pm; run through of show with band, microphones, costumes, wigs, technicians, crew, and production staff. Sunday, Sept 18th on Palace Stage from 5:00 - 8:00pm. |

Set: Melissa and Sherman pulled a vanity and screwed it on the small rolling flat we found in front of prop room. Is this going to work? Baton changes: cyc on baton #2, Jukebox |
Props: Need: clear top stick for handkerchief bit in Act I, fake gold Coin to be put in jukebox, scarves for Janis Joplin mic Paint: Could you paint the vanity (back side) that faces the audience? Rocker wasn't specific on color but I will ask him what he is envisioning" for that vanity. He doesn't want the vain face to be seen by the audience since the actress is getting dressed while looking at the mirror. |
Lighting/FX: Amanda ran lights at tonights rehearsal and it looked amazing. |
Vocal: Sound: I emailed Paul at Zach for six non functional handheld microphones. He said he has stuff for us to use and rent, but do we have money to rent? What time are you in Saturday? |
